Hi Igor,

Thanks for responding. Here are my answers:

1. How exactly you changed java.policy?

> With notepad. If there is a programmatic way to change this, that would obviously be better.

Also, note that JVM needs to be restarted for policy changes to take effect.

> I restarted Notes/Designer. Is that sufficient to restart the JVM?

2. Could be a level issue as well. Try changing the level on your logging calls from Level.FINE to Level.INFO

> One of the logging calls uses INFO. And the point of this is to have varying levels of logging that can be adjusted a run-time.

Is this goal unattainable with this approach?
